
Valerie Meyers is a lifelong Republican who firmly and emphatically believes in the principles of limited government under Constitutional authority. Valerie lives in Bonaire with her two children, Isabel and Zane. She is a member of Warner Robins Church of Christ. As a health enthusiast, Valerie has been an avid runner for nearly twenty years and regularly participates in marathons and triathlons.
She is an active member of the Georgia Republican Party and most recently served as a vice chairman in the 8th Congressional District. She has also served as a delegate at the county, district, and state Republican conventions and as a precinct chairman for her district. She has actively campaigned for fellow Republican candidates and successfully supported GOP campaign fundraisers since 1990.

Valerie served as Houston County Coordinator and 8th Congressional District Coordinator for Texas Congressman Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign, helping to organize grassroots support of hundreds of volunteers across five middle Georgia counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Houston, Peach and Laurens. Valerie remains active in Campaign for Liberty, a direct offshoot of Paul's liberty-minded grassroots movement which champions fiscal responsibility in government. Valerie was the organization's Regional Coordinator for the 8th Congressional District before stepping down to run for Congress.
Valerie is a technical writer and information technology business analyst for Computer Sciences Corporation where she analyzes and documents supply chain and inventory management logistics for software development. Much of her work involves product development for Robins Air Force Base as well as other U.S. Air Force bases around the world.
A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Valerie is a graduate of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She is currently working on her Master's Degree in international business administration at Mercer University in Atlanta.
